Professional organizer John Odalen is a detail-oriented professional with a natural talent for organizing and an inherent need for order. John spent twenty years in the software industry focusing on customer success, quality assurance and project management before transferring these skills to his new business, Organize and Maintain®. John specializes in helping people who feel overwhelmed and do not know where to start. He helps his clients create a vision and define and achieve their goals while also coaching them on how to get organized and stay organized.
An animal lover, John has volunteered with various animal rescue organizations where he lives, and has fostered dozens of kittens and cats, adopting five hard to place cats himself. Currently, John volunteers with The English School at LRPC, an English as a Second Language school for adults. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, gardening and exercising and watches way too much television.
He is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO)
and is also a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
Born and raised in New Jersey, John currently lives in Lawrenceville, NJ with his dog Travis. His book on organizing, Real Value: New Ways to Think About Your Time, Your Space & Your Stuff
